Here's how they happen: Raw fish maw looks a bit like a deflated balloon. We slice and roll each piece into the signature twists that give our chews their unmistakable crunch. But sometimes, those twists open up during dehydration, creating what we affectionately call "bowties."
They're the exact same single ingredient, collagen-rich fish maw you know and love, just a different shape! They don't last quite as long as our twists, and they take up a lot more room in our pouches.
